The spring semester of  LOGOS will begin February 6.  Much excitement and anticipation is being expressed from the children and youth who attend and from those who have helped by volunteering.  Even more exciting is the increased enrollment we will see!  We are planning lots of fun themes like we had last semester!  The theme for each week will be printed in the Sunday Envoy and on our website. 

Blue Ridge United Methodist Church is growing an energetic and engaging LOGOS ministry for our youth and children…..and we NEED YOUR HELP!  Some volunteer positions require only 30 minutes of your time one night per week for the 12 weeks of our spring semester!  To the right is a list of a few areas we are in great need of support.  May your heart be open to sharing your talents in a very positive and rewarding way!      Blessings~ Tammy Bartley, Logos Director

LOGOS Sunday is the first Sunday of every month!!! LOGOS Sundays are meant to help our children and teens learn to participate in the worship service. Attendance on these Sundays are important as many times kids will be playing a role in the service.

Table parent – A table is comprised of two adults and 6 kids of mixed ages.  Share a meal and get to know our children & youth. 

Recreation – Help other adults plan a 20 minute activity and play with the kids.  This is an informal time that breaks down walls and let adults and kids just have fun together.

Bible Study- LOGOS has excellent curriculum for all ages.  Bible study is 45 minutes each night.  You don’t need to be a Bible scholar!!!....you just need to have an open heart to the lessons and willing to share what you learn and know with our youth!

Kitchen- Meal time is one of the most important components of  LOGOS.  Helping in meal preparation is a volunteer position that we value and appreciate greatly!  Without you…..we have hungry kids!!

Transportation – Multiple church van drivers are needed to pick up children of working parents.
